Our popular Edsbyn frame series is now finally available in oak! Edsbyn Oak is perfect when you're looking for a beautiful wooden frame with a stunning oak veneer. The entire Edsbyn range is made in Sweden and Edsbyn Oak is a pine frame with a high-quality oak veneer. Already one of our favourites, it's available in over 60 sizes. The frame can also be manufactured to order, either as a picture frame or a mirror. Perfect when you want beautiful oak frames for your picture wall, for example.
Sometimes we're asked why the mirror frame is made of oak veneer and not real solid oak if it's supposed to be a quality frame. The reason is that it's difficult to control the surface of the wood when it comes to real oak, meaning that you often get differences in the colour of different parts of the wood. In some contexts, that looks good, but in a frame, it risks looking as if parts of the frame are discoloured.
By using a genuine oak veneer that consists of a thin layer of genuine oak, you get the perfect oak colour you're looking for. Veneers can sometimes get bad press, but a beautiful veneer like this has only upsides and gives you a genuine and authentic looking result.
