Edsbyn black is a Swedish-made quality picture frame in genuine oak wood. The frame is painted in black which gives it a modern and timeless appearance, something that is also enhanced by the square profile. The frame strip is 13 mm wide and 11.5 mm deep, making the frame thin yet feeling solid and stable. Wall mount for both vertical and horizontal hanging is available. The frame has a rabbet depth (inner depth) of 8 mm and plenty of space in case you want to complement your motif with an elegant passe-partout. The back is made of MDF and is held in place with the help of small metal pins that are easily bent up when you want to mount your motif.
This is a frame with acrylic glass. Acrylic glass is made of acrylic plastic and is much more durable than real glass. It has the advantages of being unbreakable and lighter in weight. A frame with acrylic glass is therefore lighter than other frames with glass and is thus excellent for use in children's rooms or when you just want a lighter frame.
